Creating a Long-Term Digital Hub & Virtual Event that Satisfies all Stakeholders
9:12 – 9:42 a.m.
Virtual events, on-demand content, online learning, digital vendor solutions – the new normal is here and digital transformation is required. In this case study, Association TV’s President, Dan Stevens, and the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists’ (AANA) Chief Growth Officer, Eric O’Connor, discuss how AANA responded to shifting digital trends, and the acceleration of COVID-19.
AANA decided it was time to take the friction of “pay-per-course” out of their continued education and accreditation programs. Working with Association TV, they deployed a video and audio online learning platform that allows for free trials and monthly or annual subscriptions.
Virtual events? No problem. AANA rolled out a virtual event hub that managed live content, linked to an exhibitor showcase and poster sessions – then drove on-demand content for long-term consumption.
In this session, you’ll learn what motivated these decisions and how their membership is responding. You will also learn how AANA is leveraging this content model and Association TV platform to recover (and grow event revenues), create micro-learning awareness, and additional non-dues revenue. Discover how this strategy will improve member education and value.

Creating an Education Strategy that Will Keep Your Members Coming Back
Sharon Rice, .orgSource
9:50 – 10:21 a.m.
Even before the pandemic, the way professionals learn was changing. If your education strategy is grounded in certification prep courses, CEUs and conferences, you may be working harder and harder to engage the same number of participants as you have in the past. If this is true for your association, it is a sign you may not be where the market is.
During this session, we will explore how professionals learn today, what employers are looking for, and how to use that information to create an education strategy that improves not only the number but also the share of participants year over year.
