Elizabeth Lepkowski, MATD, brings over thirteen years of experience in adult learning and training methodologies, implementing self-directed activities as well as integrating engaging interactive education formats with live and blended educational events. She holds a graduate degree in training and development with a focus on e-learning. Elizabeth has incorporated education technology, specifically the use of learning management systems, simulation, social media and gamification modalities to enhance and increase effectiveness of educational content delivery and measurable outcomes.
As American Society of Anesthesiologist’s Director of Education, Elizabeth provides strategic association leadership for ASA’s education programs and services to meet the needs of the anesthesia care team. Elizabeth provides vision and direction to ensure ASA is positioned to offer an innovative and engaging education portfolio; scanning trends in the field of continuing education and learning; leading the development of programs and product offerings; analyzing registration, evaluation, and budget data to achieve quality and financial goals. Elizabeth brings innovative leadership to ASA and the CME community, and ensures alignment of the use of instructional design methods and education content delivery to ensure regulatory and certification requirements are achieved with ACCME, NC-CME, ATD, and SSIH.
