Speakers: Nancy MacRae, CEO, Emergency Nurses Association and Charlie Judy, President, Workforce at QuestionPro

A strong organizational culture is a prerequisite for success. Keeping enthusiasm high and creating a shared sense of purpose can be a significant leadership challenge. With a staff of 100, developing collaboration is at the top of MacRae’s priority list. MacRae teamed up with renown human relations expert Charlie Judy to develop compelling strategies for motivating her staff. The move to a new headquarters was an opportunity to create a physical environment that reflects and augments the organization’s values. Judy and MacRae will share their insight on building cultures that move associations forward.

1:15 – 2:00 pm Harnessing the Power of Collective Knowledge Through Virtual Events

Speaker: Arianna Rehak, CEO and Co-Founder, Matchbox Virtual Media

Virtual conferences and virtual events are typically considered a means to deliver educational content, but what if it also served the purpose of capturing the collective knowledge of your members in a way that extends far beyond the event? In this session, you will learn a new method of virtual co-creation that is being applied to produce virtual events that serve the purpose of building new bodies of knowledge within industries. You will also learn easy and viable ways to immediately start applying these concepts into your existing initiatives.

Speaker: Peggy Winton, CEO, Association for Intelligent Information Management

AIIM advances the concept that digital transformation begins with intelligent information management. Peggy Winton and her team believe that information is our most important asset in the digital economy. All of us are information brokers, and we need to be information stewards.

Winton sees the potential for growth and relevance in curating and surfacing the vast array of educational content within AIIM. She says that first and foremost, AIIM is a MARKETING BUSINESS. Winton will describe the impact that this new mindset has had on technology investment, business strategy, and organizational culture.

Associations run on tight budgets and are always looking to get more from less. Business intelligence can be critical to optimizing resources, but many organizations are still drowning in data and gaining little benefit. This session will cover not only broad strategies of how BI can improve business outcomes, but also specific stories, examples, and tips for how association executives can start to leverage data and business intelligence to work smarter, not harder.
